Privacy Policy

CheckoutGrade ("CheckoutGrade," "we," "us") is operated by Robert Kirby as a sole proprietorship based in Irvine, California. This policy explains what information we collect through checkoutgrade.com, why, and how it's handled.
Information we collect
When you submit the free scan, order an audit, or apply for CheckoutGrade Elite, we collect what you enter directly: your name and email address, your store's URL, the platform(s) you're asking about, and any notes you add. We do not ask for or collect your store's admin, seller, or CMS login at any tier below Elite, and even for Elite, access is granted by you through your platform's own collaborator/staff-invite tools — never by handing us a password (see our Terms of Service for more on that).
If you make a purchase, payment is processed entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see, receive, or store your card number or other full payment details — Stripe handles that under its own security standards (Stripe is a certified Level 1 PCI Service Provider). We only receive confirmation that a payment was made, along with the billing name/email/amount Stripe passes back to us.
We also use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall site traffic — page views, referring sources, and general usage patterns. This is aggregate analytics, not used to identify you personally.
How we use your information
- To deliver the audit, report, or service you requested, and to reach you about it.
- To respond to Elite applications and provide a quote.
- To process payment (via Stripe) and send related receipts/confirmations.
- To improve the site and our service based on aggregate traffic patterns.
We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not use it for purposes beyond delivering and improving the service you asked for.
How long we keep it
Lead and order information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to deliver the service, respond to any follow-up, and maintain basic business records (e.g., for tax purposes). You can request deletion of your information at any time — see "Your choices" below.
Who else sees it
We share information only with the service providers that make CheckoutGrade work: Stripe (payment processing), our web host, and Google Analytics (aggregate traffic data). We don't share your information with data brokers, advertisers, or any other third party for their own marketing use.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete the information you've submitted, or ask what we have on file, by emailing bobbykirby@gmail.com. If you no longer want to hear from us, just reply to any email and say so — we'll honor it.
California residents
We're a California business, and we extend the same rights to everyone regardless of where you live: you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it — just email us at the address above and we'll respond. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We won't discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics cookies to measure traffic. It does not use advertising/retargeting cookies at this time. You can block or clear cookies through your browser's own settings at any time.
Children's privacy
CheckoutGrade is a business-to-business service intended for store owners and operators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
